TH5 – SPECIAL ULTRA-HIGH GLOSS CLEAR COAT
Description & Applications
The Special Ultra-High Gloss Clear Coat is an acrylic emulsion–based paint manufactured to special standards to create a coating film that is minimally affected by weather and climate conditions and does not yellow over time. It is suitable for application in all regions of Viet Nam.
The coating film is hard yet flexible, with excellent elasticity and a high-gloss finish. It remains durable and aesthetically pleasing even under outdoor sunlight, wind, and dust. Compared with conventional gloss coatings, it helps reduce dust adhesion, thereby maintaining a fresh, new appearance. The transparent film does not obscure or alter the original surface of the coated material.
Main Applications:
Used in combination with Unichem – Viet Nam Co., Ltd.&;s paint systems for optimal performance, such as wood-grain imitation paint, metallic/pearl paint, and stone-effect paint.
Composition
Special ultra-durable resin (80%), water, and additives.
Application Instructions
Apply as the final protective coat over decorative finishes (wood-grain imitation paint, stone-effect paint, metallic/pearl paint). Surfaces to be coated must be clean and free from dust, oil, grease, or any substances that may reduce adhesion. Allow the underlying paint layers to dry for at least 12–48 hours before application.
The product may be diluted with clean water up to ≤ 20% to achieve suitable viscosity. Stir thoroughly, then apply using a roller, brush, or airless spray gun (bubble-free), applying 1–2 coats.
Allow 2–3 hours of drying time before applying the next coat. Full film performance is achieved after 7 days.
Theoretical Coverage
12–15 m²/L/coat
Note: Do not apply when ambient temperature is below 10°C or above 35°C. Use in combination with Unichem – Viet Nam Co., Ltd.&;s paint products for optimal results.
Storage
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area with cover. Keep paint containers upright and tightly sealed.
Warning
Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. May be harmful if swallowed or upon skin contact; may cause mild skin irritation.
Health, Safety & Environmental Information
Apply in well-ventilated areas. Remove excess paint from brushes, rollers, and containers before washing. Keep away from food, drinking water, and animal feed. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention. In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and clean water. Do not discharge paint into drains, water sources, or soil. In the event of a spill, collect using sand or suitable absorbent materials and dispose of the waste in accordance with environmental protection regulations.
